Best Restaurants in Idaho Falls - Article Banner

As professional property managers in Idaho Falls, we do a lot of work with locals and visitors alike. We also get out into the community as much as we can, contributing in whatever ways possible.

We like to eat, and you probably like to eat too.

So, we put together a brief list of some of the best restaurants in Idaho Falls. Whether you’re in town for a visit or you’re relocating here and wondering where to go for great food, there’s something for you on this list.

SnakeBite

Family owned and operated, SnakeBite is popular among local Idaho Falls residents, and it has been a favorite since opening in 1994. Don’t bother asking for a recipe they’re closely guarded. This means you’ll be eating food that you simply cannot find elsewhere. Burgers and steaks are some of the most popular menu items, and you can also find a delicious Cajun chicken sandwich and a great selection of draft beers.

Copper Hill Restaurant

Consistently well-reviewed, Copper Hill Restaurant is known for delicious pastas, steaks, and specials. The French onion soup is a favorite, as is the lamb. Try to get a reservation if you can because the place fills quickly. There’s both outdoor and indoor dining, and the location is especially beautiful; diners can enjoy a walk along the river after dinner.

Cast Iron on 17th

On 17th Street in Ammon, Cast Iron on 17th serves steaks, fish, and an ever-evolving menu of specialty items. The restaurant has been featured on the cover of Idaho Falls Magazine and it was awarded Best New Restaurant. This is the place to try when you’re looking for unique flavors found in iconic dishes like the Mediterranean risotto, French onion soup, and baklava cheesecake.

Smokin Fins

Sushi, sandwiches, salads, and craft cocktails are available at Smokin’ Fins. This is the place to come for brunch, appetizers, or happy hour. Diners enjoy a unique menu that blends ocean-fresh seafood and house smoked specialties such as prime rib and slow smoked pork. Reservations are limited because the place prefers to leave plenty of space for walk-in guests.

D’Railed

Gastropubs are all the rage, and in Idaho Falls, you don’t want to miss D’Railed. You’ll find it in a historic house next to some train tracks, and the vibe is very laid back. You’ll find a diverse collection of diners when you sit down to your grass-fed skirt steak or your stuffed mushrooms. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but the dining experience is truly upscale. If you’re bringing your dog, no worries – pets can sit with parents in the outside area.

Lucy’s Pizzeria

Fresh dough and handmade sauce can be found at Lucy’s Pizzeria, which is perhaps the best place in Idaho Falls to curb your pizza cravings. They offer delivery but also invite you to dine in, with cozy booths and a fun, family-friendly environment. The secret to these pizzas is a gathering of fresh ingredients and stone ovens that reach 600 degrees. Thin, crispy crusts hold any of the toppings you choose.

Arugula Deli

Best SaladFor a sandwich or a salad, head over to Arugula Deli, where fresh and local foods are served, sometimes with a Latin American twist (the chef and owner is from Bolivia). The guacamole bruschetta is a favorite, as is the mango fresa salad. There’s churrasco and soup and a delightful brunch menu that includes cocktails.

These are just a few of our favorites for guests and residents of Idaho Falls. We’d love to hear about the restaurants that mean the most to you. Contact us at Jacob Grant Property Management.
